The Sterling Residence: Custom Cast Glass Bar Counter & Raised Servery

Designed as a focal point for an executive entertaining space, this bespoke bar counter features two distinct tiers of heavy cast glass. The lower cantilevered drinking rail and upper servery shelf were kiln-formed to capture organic movement within the material, echoing the subtle aqua hues of coastal waters. Hand-chipped textured edges provide a tactile contrast to the polished timber cabinetry below. Mounted using custom-machined brushed steel standoffs and cantilever supports, the assembly strikes a balance between sculptural art and durable functional engineering.
