The Andrews Residence: Custom Sculpted Glass Bar Counter Top
A multi-tiered architectural glass bar installation showcasing heavy slump-cast glass with hand-finished textured edges, elevated on custom brushed steel standoff posts.
This featured project showcases the premium artistry and custom capability of Bills Glass Studios. The centerpiece is a stunning 19mm (3/4") thick clear glass counter and bar top, where every single edge and surface was meticulously sculpted and polished entirely by hand. The organic, hand-sculpted glass creates a dramatic visual texture that beautifully catches the light, turning a functional surface into a functional art focal point of the room
To complement the heavy, hand-worked glass, the bar top is elevated on sleek stand-offs and supported by custom-fabricated steel brackets salvaged from a grain elevator. This unique combination of ultra-thick, hand-polished glass and rugged, industrial steel creates a striking architectural contrast. Designed and executed to perfection, this project highlights our commitment to delivering elite craftsmanship and one-of-a-kind glass installations across Vancouver and the surrounding areas.
